The July 2017 release for JPedal 7 is now available to download or evaluate.
This month we have made improvements to memory consumption and fixed several font issues. We have:
1. Implemented memory improvements for certain files. Handling of JPEGs and converting from RGB to CMYK now consume less memory. 2. Made improvements to the display of Type 1 CID fonts. Several issues with the display of these fonts have now been fixed. 3. Fixed a complex issue with TrueType hinting. We have now added code to handle the twilight zone which was required to solve issues with TrueType hinting.
Prospective customers can download the trial jar here, and existing customers can download the full jar here.
Full details of our changes are in the full release notes.
