Can BuildVu embed documents in email?

Whilst email clients are typically able to display limited HTML/SVG content, in general, we have found support to be far too limited for it to be viable to use BuildVu for embedding documents directly in an email. We have found behaviour to be inconsistent between email clients. In particular, fonts are an area where almost all clients lack support.

You may have better luck sending the converted document as an attachment (provided that you enable the appropriate settings which embed page assets as base64). In our testing we have found that support for this is much better than embedding directly, however, there were still issues such as text encoding being ignored in some email clients as well as others that display a broken preview of the attachment rather than offering to open it inside the default web browser.

In general, we do not recommend using BuildVu as a solution for email, and we are not able to provide support for this.
