Which fonts does BuildVu support?

BuildVu should accept all valid fonts.

Not all fonts are supported in web browsers as standard, however BuildVu processes and rewrites the fonts to allow browsers to read them.

Sometimes the embedded fonts are missing information that BuildVu needs to make them supported in web browsers.

Sometimes the embedded fonts contain incorrect data that does not affect the display of the original PDF file but does mean that browsers are not able to read them.

We have a lot of code that deals with handling and rewriting the fonts, and BuildVu takes a best-effort approach to converting them.

We have invested a lot of time into our font handling and it is an area where our customers tell us we do a much better job than our competitors.
