We have reviewed the BuildVu documentation structure and implemented a new sidebar based on features. This includes updates to the sidebar to allow sections to be expanded and collapsed without needing to navigate to a new page.

Enhancements

HTML-3764 Improved selection bounds in shapetext_selectable modes to better match the text appearance (when the font contains ligatures)

CORE-3926 Improved poor performance in DefaultErrorTracker when encountering an excessively large number of failure messages. In extreme cases this may have doubled or even tripled the conversion duration.

Fixes:

HTML-3760 Corrected the MIME type used when base64 embedding JPEG images to image/jpeg (was image/jpg)

HTML-3763 Fixed a regression in 2023.01 that caused incorrect text appearance in a customer file due to an unusual Type 1 font no longer being written out

HTML-3745 Fixed an issue where the text appearance sometimes had duplicated characters when the preserveExtractionValues setting is enabled

CORE-3923 Fixed a rare issue where clip shapes with a height/width of 0 could incorrectly cause some shapes to not be rendered
